When and how did you first learn about Idle Hands?
When I first moved to Malden after we signed for the apartment, we decided to celebrate over a beer, checked out what was around and found out that Idle Hands was 2 minutes down the road.
What were you doing before you started working at Idle Hands?
I was working at Old Navy/Vino Volo
What are you doing when you aren't at the brewery?
STOOP CHILLIN
Dream beer related trip?
Czech Republic, straight to Pilsner Urquell.
Why did you brew Just Jake?
It boils down to two things, how sometimes something so simple, can be beautiful and complex at the same time, and my weird obsession for PBR.
Controversial beer opinion?
Kettle Sours are fantastic. You can’t change my mind.
What is something about beer or the brewing process that fascinates you but no one else gets?
Cementitious Urethane is one hell of a floor.
Non-beer hobbies or weird fact about you.
My highest bowling game is a 279 and my fastest Rubik’s cube solve is 18 seconds.

Tips for bowling a sub 300 game?
Make sure to not convert spares, leave as many splits as you can. Be sure that once the lanes transition you don’t move left.
Why are you so damn handsome?
It’s a blessing and a curse, I think it has something to do with the mustache, but that’s probably not the case.
Tall lasagna?
ALRIGHT, LASAGNA HAS AN ORDER;
NOODLE, SAUCE, NOODLE, SAUCE, NOODLE, SAUCE, SAUCE AT THE TOP. IF YOU TAKE TWO PIECES AND STACK THEM, THE ORDER REMAINS THE SAME AND BECOMES TALL LASAGNA.
